Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Hoodlrz Vobjct collection.

What is Hoodlrz?

Hoodlrz is a collection of 10,000 unique generative digital collectibles on Ethereum, built as Vobjcts - a new asset model designed for integrity, resilient storage, and verified recoverability.

What is a Vobjct?

A Vobjct is a token-bound verified asset vault. Each minted token maps to a Vobjct manifest that bundles the canonical artwork, integrity hashes, storage routes, embedded rights, recovery policy, and cryptographic signatures into a single verifiable document.

What is Vobjct Safe?

Vobjct Safe is an active preservation layer that monitors storage health across all routes (Arweave, IPFS, HTTPS). It can trigger authorized repairs - like re-pinning IPFS content or adding mirrors - without ever modifying the canonical artwork, its hashes, or its rights.

How much does it cost to mint?

Each Hoodlrz costs 0.01 ETH to mint. You will also pay Ethereum gas fees for the transaction, which vary based on network congestion.

How many can I mint?

Each wallet can mint up to 100 Hoodlrz across the lifetime of the collection. This limit is enforced at the smart contract level and cannot be bypassed.

Where is the artwork stored?

The canonical artwork is permanently stored on Arweave. It is also mirrored on IPFS for distributed availability and backed via HTTPS CDN as a fallback. All three routes are tracked in each token's Vobjct manifest.

What can Vobjct Safe do?

Safe can re-pin IPFS content, add HTTPS mirrors, re-announce storage routes, and revalidate manifests. It cannot modify the primary artwork, replace asset hashes, rewrite rights, or change token bindings. These forbidden actions are enforced by policy.

What wallet do I need?

We support MetaMask and Phantom Wallet. Make sure your wallet is connected to Ethereum mainnet.

Is the smart contract verified?

Yes. The Hoodlrz smart contract is verified on Etherscan. Anyone can read the source code. There are no proxy contracts or upgrade mechanisms. It uses ERC721A for gas-efficient minting and ERC-2981 for on-chain royalties.

Are there royalties?

Yes. The collection uses ERC-2981, the on-chain royalty standard. Royalty terms are also embedded directly in each Vobjct manifest. The default royalty is 5%.

Can the mint price change?

No. The mint price of 0.01 ETH is set as an immutable constant in the smart contract. It cannot be changed by anyone, including the contract owner.

How do I verify my Vobjct?

Each token has a vobjctURI() function on-chain that returns the manifest URI. You can fetch the manifest and verify that all hashes match the stored artwork. The Vobjct manifest hash itself is also verifiable.

What happens after the collection sells out?

After all 10,000 Hoodlrz are minted, you can buy and sell them on secondary marketplaces like OpenSea. Vobjct Safe continues to monitor and protect storage for the entire collection indefinitely.

Is this a good investment?

Hoodlrz is an art project, not an investment product. NFTs are volatile digital assets and their value may go to zero. Never spend more than you can afford to lose.
